Laurent Miquel Syrah/Grenache

Father and son Henri and Laurent Miquel make gorgeous and satisfying wine from the various terroirs of France's Languedoc region. Their blended red is their favorite value-priced wine in their range, and we can see why. It offers up generous and ripe notes of cherry, raspberry, spice, and chocolate. Not too heavy but certainly not light, it's a lot of wine for the money.
